MARBLE

Made from raw stone that has been quarried, sliced, water blasted, buffed and polished, marble is a natural stone where each slab is unique. The brightness of a white marble is unmatched by any of its natural stone counterparts and its cool temperature and timeless beauty showcase a classic design. While coloration of marble can be more consistent than granite, its uniqueness means that one slab will never fully match another. This is important to take into consideration when more than one piece is needed for a space. Considered the softest of the stone surface options, marble is porous and can be stained—especially by acidic liquids like wine or juice. Marble should be resealed annually to preserve the quality of the one-of-a-kind piece.
